Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to everyone who registers, browses profiles or buys a plan on FairMatrimony. Please read them before you register.

In effect from 20 August 2026

1. Who we are and what we do

FairMatrimony operates FairMatrimony at https://fairmatrimony.com. We are a matrimonial matchmaking bureau based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India, serving Telugu families primarily across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

We are a service, not a shop. We do not sell, ship or deliver any physical goods. What we provide is access to reviewed matrimonial profiles and personal introductions made by our staff.

2. Who may use FairMatrimony

  • You must be legally competent to marry under Indian law: at least 21 years of age for a man and 18 for a woman. We do not accept registrations below 18 under any circumstances.
  • You must be unmarried, divorced, or widowed. Registering while legally married to someone else is not permitted.
  • You may register on behalf of a family member with their knowledge and consent. The person whose profile it is remains responsible for what it contains.
  • One person may hold only one profile.

3. Your profile and the review we carry out

Every profile is read by a member of our team before it becomes visible to anyone. We may decline or remove a profile that appears false, incomplete, offensive, or that we are not satisfied is genuine. Our decision on this is final, and we are not obliged to explain it in detail.

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything on your profile. Giving false information about age, marital status, education, income, caste or family is a breach of these terms and we may close the account without refund.

4. Contact details are never shared

This is central to how we operate. We never give one member another member's name, phone number, address or email, at any plan level, at any price. Members see a registration ID such as FM1052 and nothing more.

When a profile interests you, you tell us, and a person from our team approaches the other family on your behalf. Every introduction goes through us. If you would like your details passed to a particular family, we will ask you first.

5. Photographs

Photographs are shown blurred to members on the free plan. On a paid plan, a man's photographs are visible; a woman's photographs are shown only after a request that our team approves. We may decline such a request without giving a reason.

Do not copy, download, screenshot, share or republish any photograph or profile detail you see on FairMatrimony. Doing so is a serious breach of these terms and of the privacy of the family concerned, and we will close your account without refund and may take further action.

6. Plans and payment

Registration is free. The paid plans are:

PlanPriceWhat it includes
FreeNo charge3 profiles, photographs blurred, no introductions.
Silver₹1,19925 profiles with full details and photographs, 3 introductions a month, valid 3 months.
Gold₹1,499All profiles with full details and photographs, 6 introductions a month, valid 6 months.

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time; a change never affects a plan you have already paid for.

Payment is taken online through a licensed payment provider, or in person at our office. A plan becomes active only after our system has received confirmation from the payment provider that the money has been received. Reaching a “payment successful” screen is not by itself confirmation.

7. What we do not promise

We are careful about this, because it matters. We cannot and do not guarantee that you will find a match, get married, or receive any particular number of responses. A paid plan buys access to profiles and a set number of introductions each month. It does not buy an outcome.

We check every profile by hand, but we cannot independently verify every claim a family makes about themselves. Please make your own enquiries before committing to anything. Meeting, corresponding with, or marrying anyone you find through us is entirely your own decision and at your own risk.

8. How you must behave

  • Do not use the service to harass, threaten, defraud or solicit anyone.
  • Do not use it for any commercial purpose, including collecting profiles or contacts.
  • Do not attempt to access accounts, data or parts of the site that are not yours.
  • Do not use automated tools to copy profiles or images.
  • Do not share your login with anyone else.

9. Suspending or closing an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the breach is serious, such as false information, misuse of photographs, or harassment, we may do so immediately and without a refund.

You may close your account at any time by writing to support@fairmatrimony.com. See our Refund Policy for what happens to a paid plan.

10. Intellectual property

The FairMatrimony name, design and content belong to us. Profile information and photographs belong to the families who provided them and are shown to you under these terms only.

11. Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with this service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for the conduct of any other member, for any loss arising from a relationship or marriage, or for interruptions to the site outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, please write to us. Most problems are settled with a phone call.
